Heather's design sense goes back to her youth – she began decorating her room when she was in Grade 5 and a career was born. Working in home decor shops while studying art in university, she recognized the study of art enhanced her design skills and allowed her the ability to understand and communicate her design visions more clearly. Recognizing interior design as her passion, she completed a certificate of interior decoration while working at Cushy Life, which was then owned by her friend Jonalyn Siemens. In 2003, with friends, family and clients clamouring for her to assist them with design projects, Heather expanded her creative exploration by launching her own design contracting firm, Eden Interiors.

Heather Draper is truly passionate about design and excited to be co-owner of her own boutique. "I'm forever creating spaces in my head!" she laughs, "so Bespoke is a wonderful venue to indulge my design ideas, while assisting clients in the boutique".

Working in a business which is influenced by trends, Heather tries not to get too caught up in what's of-the-moment. "I love the resurgence of 30's glamour in design today. It speaks to my personal aesthetic of subtle details and tailored forms – however in my life, I'm far more casual, so it doesn't necessarily translate. I strive to find something that each client really loves; if you truly love something, chances are you will truly love it forever. After all, your home should reflect who you are, not just the cover of a magazine", Heather advises.
